The Bible

Psalm 90:2(….from everlasting)

2 …….from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Psalm 46:6

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Psalm 145:18-20

18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Joshua 10:3(….Adonizedec) – 5 (1st, ….. gathered ) 6- 10, 12-14

3 … Adonizedec king of Jerusalem, sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying,
4 Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.
5 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, ……..gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.
6 And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
7 So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour.
8 And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.
9 Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.
10 And the Lord discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Bethhoron, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.
12 Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.

Matthew 9:35

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Matthew 27: 1 (……all)

1 …….. all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

John 19:5 (Then came Jesus forth….And)-11(to : )

5 Then came Jesus forth, … And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
9 And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: …

Psalm 62: 1, 10( to , ….….if )11

1 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
10 Trust not in oppression, …..if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

1 Peter 5: 11

11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

224:29-31

The power of God brings deliverance to the captive. No power can withstand divine Love.

412:13-18

The power of Christian Science and divine Love is omnipotent. It is indeed adequate to unclasp the hold and to destroy disease, sin, and death.

To prevent disease or to cure it, the power of Truth, of divine Spirit, must break the dream of the material senses.

192:19-29

In Science, you can have no power opposed to God, and the physical senses must give up their false testimony. Your influence for good depends upon the weight you throw into the right scale. The good you do and embody gives you the only power obtainable. Evil is not power. It is a mockery of strength, which erelong betrays its weakness and falls, never to rise.

We walk in the footsteps of Truth and Love by following the example of our Master in the understanding of divine metaphysics.

Miscellaneous Writings

373:24-3

In Genesis we read that God gave man dominion over all things; and this assurance is followed by Jesus’ declaration, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth,” and by his promise that the Christlike shall finally sit down at the right hand of the Father.

Christian Science is more than a prophet or a prophecy: it presents not words alone, but works, — the daily demonstration of Truth and Love. Its healing and saving power was so great a proof of Immanuel and the realism of Christianity, that it caused even the publicans to justify God.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

231:8-11

If God heals not the sick, they are not healed, for no lesser power equals the infinite All-power; but God, Truth, Life, Love, does heal the sick through the prayer of the righteous.

110:25-31

Jesus demonstrated the power of Christian Science to heal mortal minds and bodies. But this power was lost sight of, and must again be spiritually discerned, taught, and demonstrated according to Christ’s command, with “signs following.” Its Science must be apprehended by as many as believe on Christ and spiritually understand Truth.

285:27-31

As mortals reach, through knowledge of Christian Science, a higher sense, they will seek to learn, not from matter, but from the divine Principle, God, how to demonstrate the Christ, Truth, as the healing and saving power.

Miscellaneous Writings

347:25-28

God is responsible for the mission of those whom He has anointed. Those who know no will but His take His hand, and from the night He leads to light. None can say unto Him, What doest Thou?

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

97:22-28

It requires courage to utter truth; for the higher Truth lifts her voice, the louder will error scream, until its inarticulate sound is forever silenced in oblivion.

“He uttered His voice, the earth melted.” This Scripture indicates that all matter will disappear before the supremacy of Spirit.

No and Yes

24:27-3

As there is none beside Him, and He is all good, there can be no evil.

Simply uttering this great thought is not enough! We must live it, until God becomes the All and Only of our being.

Miscellaneous Writings

138:9-16

For students to work together is not always to cooperate, but sometimes to coelbow! Each student should seek alone the guidance of our common Father — even the divine Principle which he claims to demonstrate, — and especially should he prove his faith by works, ethically, physically, and spiritually. Remember that the first and last lesson of Christian Science is love, perfect love, and love made perfect through the cross.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

264:10-12

We must look where we would walk, and we must act as possessing all power from Him in whom we have our being.

Miscellaneous Writings

13:28- 2

Seek the Anglo-Saxon term for God, and you will find it to be good; then define good as God, and you will find that good is omnipotence, has all power; it fills all space, being omnipresent; hence, there is neither place nor power left for evil.

Unity of Good

17: 4 (…. I say..) – 6 (to journey,)

….I say, Be allied to the deific power, and all that is good will aid your journey,

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

228:25-27

There is no power apart from God. Omnipotence has all-power, and to acknowledge any other power is to dishonor God.
